Sandy has always been interested in sustainable design and now focuses on working with recycled and found objects to minimize his impact on the environment. Something he enjoys about using found objects and restoring furniture are the stories and history embedded within objects.
Wood is one of his favourite materials to work with – he speaks about the warmth that timber has, which grows warmer with age.
